GRIT
Our Mission:
Forging Authentic Men

Wednesdays at 6:30 PM in room B11

King David in Psalm 51:10 cries out to God, “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” That is also our prayer and desire. We believe our only hope for real life change is that God would give us His desires and renew His Spirit in us. So everything we do; we would do to that end. Our prayer and desire is to provide opportunities for the Holy Spirit to minister to us and fulfill his promise in Ezekiel 11:19-20, “And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in my statutes and keep my rules and obey them. And they shall be my people, and I will be their God.” We gather to pray for each other and listen to God’s voice and seek transformation by the presence of his Holy Spirit among us and in us. We gather to study, to share our stories and experiences so that we can share our burdens and be an encouragement to each other.
To that end we invite you to our Wednesday night “GRIT” meeting. We meet between 6:30-8:00 every Wednesday evening in room B11.

Study:
The Book of Colossians

When we think about the future: Do you worry or do you hope? The Book of Colossians encourages us not to worry, but to trust Christ instead. Why? The Book of Colossians describes an incredible hope for us to latch on to. What is it? Is it really possible to live in this hope? How might my life be more authentic if I was keenly aware of this truth the author speaks about?
