GLEANINGS FOR THE HUNGRY
Dates: June 20th-26th
Cost: $150/person
Ages: Graduated 8th Graders & Up
Come and join the Village Church Gleanings Team for our 4th trip to Gleanings for the Hungry. Each year the team travels up to Dinuba, CA for one week to process fresh peaches into dried fruit. All the fruit is donated to Gleanings by local growers.
Gleanings is one of our best trips. Our team always has a great time working hard together. Quite literally, the fruits of our labor will be sent around the world to feed hungry people from many different nations.
FAMILY: We are encouraging family members to sign up together for this awesome week of hard work, ministry, community and fun.
GFTH TEAM AGREEMENT
By joining the Gleanings Team we agree to PREPARE, GO, WORK HARD & WORK TOGETHER.
PREPARE: We will have 5 team meetings where we will pray together, talk about the trip, and strategize our team fundraiser: 5/2, 5/9, 5/16, 5/30 & 6/6.
GO: We will depart for Gleanings For The Hungry on Sunday, June 20th at 2:00 PM and return on Saturday, June 26th around 4:00 PM.
WORK HARD: Both before and during the trip we will work hard by keeping a positive attitude and focusing on meeting the needs of the Gleanings For The Hungry ministry.
WORK TOGETHER: We will work as a unified team in all that we do before and during the Gleanings For The Hungry trip.
